We need your help in order for us to provide a safe and healthy environment for all staff and students who visit our facilities. We are doing our best to keep our facility safe for all our students and staff. We want to thank you in advance for your support of these efforts! We are lifting our required quarantine for traveling out of town. Should numbers in this area increase, we reserve the right to implement the travel restrictions again if necessary.
Please be vigilant if traveling out of town and be sure that your child has not been around someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, someone who is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, and does not present with any COVID-like symptoms before returning to the gym. We must work together to keep everyone healthy!
Cleaning & Sanitation Guidelines
For the Students: Class students are asked to wash their hands prior to coming to Ocean Tumblers. Upon arrival, students will sanitize their hands before entering the facility. If a child has an allergy or other medical reason that hand sanitizer can’t be used, the restrooms are available in the lobby for washing hands a minimum of 30 seconds.
There are signs in the bathrooms showing proper hand washing protocol. During class, students will sanitize their hands between rotations. On bars, hands are sanitized between each station.
In the facility: Ocean Tumblers uses an EPA approved, non-toxic disinfectant that kills viruses. We’ve also contracted with a local business to frequently fog our locations to assist in our cleaning protocols.
We will clean any shared materials (balls, mats, etc.) between groups. Ocean Tumblers will staff several floating staff members whose main responsibility is cleaning larger areas of activity between groups in our facility. Roy, our regular custodian, will still clean as usual paying special attention to high touch surfaces.
Bathrooms are continuously cleaned while we are open. Please keep social distancing in mind when using the facilities. We’ve installed touchless faucets and hand soap dispensers in all of our bathroom. The lighting is also automatic. These upgrades were installed to decrease the number of “touch” surfaces in our facility.
